What these videos show
Every walkthrough covers the same two moments, because they're the ones your staff and your customers actually live with: selling a card, and redeeming one at the till. Both filmed in the real interface of the platform, not a mock-up.
Watch what happens to the balance after a partial redemption. A card bought online and part-spent in store should show the right remaining balance everywhere, straight away. No overnight sync, no reconciliation step, no window where your website and your till disagree in front of a customer. Most gift card setups get that wrong.
Which one should you watch?
Filter by whatever you already run. If you have a POS and an online store, which is really what these videos are about, watch both. The handoff between them is the interesting part, not either one on its own.
No eCommerce platform? Watch the Wrapped Storefront walkthrough. It covers selling gift cards from a branded page on your own domain without a separate online store. That is the usual setup for restaurants and venues whose only other online system is a booking engine.

Setup and demos: frequently asked questions
- How long does it take to set up gift cards on my POS?
- Most merchants are live the same day. You authorise the connection from your Wrapped account in a few clicks, no developer work and nothing to install, then brand your gift card assets, import any existing cards so outstanding balances keep working, and optionally order physical cards. Multi-site setups and migrations of existing balances take longer, usually because of the export from your previous provider rather than anything on the Wrapped side.
- What if my POS is not in these videos?
- Two options. Use the Wrapped App alongside your existing POS as a standalone sales and redemption surface, or build against the Wrapped REST API, available on Pro and above. The integrations page lists every platform with a native connection, which is more than are covered by videos here.
- Do I need an eCommerce platform to sell gift cards online?
- No. The Wrapped storefront is a fully branded gifting page hosted on your own domain, and the last video on this page walks through it. It is the usual choice for venues whose only other online system is a booking engine. If you do run Shopify, WooCommerce or BigCommerce, Wrapped integrates with those instead or as well.
- Which Lightspeed series do I have?
- Lightspeed Retail is X-Series or R-Series, Lightspeed Restaurant is O-Series, K-Series or L-Series, and Lightspeed eCommerce is Ecwid or C-Series. There is a walkthrough for each here. - Can I try it before committing?
- Yes. The 14-day free trial gives you a fully functional account where you can connect a test POS or store, issue test cards and validate the workflow end to end. API access on Pro and above includes a separate test-mode token for integration development.
